you seemed so far away...

well, i got a digital camera. its nothing extremely special, but i feel as though i've joined the dark side. however, i'm not forgetting about everything else, in fact i went to the darkroom the other day, but have yet to scan those pictures in. i will soon.

and its not like it takes NO effort. its very hard to keep it still when its extremely cold outside and you're shaking. and i always use manual mode.

sigh. the reason i really like it is because i don't have to wait ages to get anything developed.

this might mean constant posting for awhile, sorry to clutter up your watch boxes, but i want to get feedback while i'm learning how to use it.

merry christmas.

Well with my DSLR and digi compact I must be bloody Darth Vader then =P Trust me when you have enough money together and get a DSLR you won't go back to film. O and what every you do don't buy a D70 or 300D, just keep saving and go for something like the Canon 20D, Minolta 7D or pushing it a Pentax iST D. You've taken the first step and I must drag you into the dark side even more :evillaugh:

What camera have you got?
:iconskaforbrain:
a cannon powershot A75, like i said nothing special. but its a start. :-) i have started saving some, maybe i will go even farther. who knows?
:iconskaforbrain:
hehe. thanks! have you seen the whole trilogy?

have you also seen Baraka? <--if not...it is phenomonal. a real cinematographer's movie, but really-its terrific, heavily based on koyaanisqatsi (due to the director being ron fricke) but its more modern and they used this amazing wide film...o dear. i'm droning. but you really ought to see it if you haven't.
:iconrokprsn:
i haven't seen baraka. and i did see the other two in the series of koyaanisqatsi and they were both really neat also. i didn't watch them as good as i watched koyaanisqatsi though. i'll check out baraka

ooooo the A75 isn't a bad little starting camera for digital and I have sold loads of them (its my job hehehe). Best thing to do is get a savings acount and just throw money in it and make sure its one where you can't do more then one withdrawal a year. Thats how I got my 10D. Good luck ;)
